  3. <hi style=afpcap>The Air Force dropped plans to christen the B-1B bomber Excalibur after learning that this was the brand name of a popular condom. Dubbed the Lancer instead, this Rockwell B-1B with bomb bay doors open and leading- and trailing-edge flaps extended making a low-level training mission with the 28th Bombardment Wing. Based at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota near Rapid City, the 28th BMW operates the 4th Airborne Command and Control, 28th Air Refueling, and 37th Bombardment Squadrons while yet another bomb squadron, the 77th, was disestablished in 1995.</hi>
